The global HundrED community is absolutely booming right now! With our annual summit in Helsinki and the launch of the HundrED Global Collection 2019 in early November, it has been a thrilling time of international connections, collaboration, and plenty of inspiration when it comes to innovation in education.
With this in mind, we are delighted that the HundrED community is eager to get together online once again to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences – this time on the theme of holistic wellbeing in education.
Thematic Talks are online discussions led by our Ambassadors on selected themes aligned with our research goals. We aim to provide a space where individuals passionate about education can connect and engage in discussions around the state of education globally, creating awareness, sharing ideas and learning from fresh perspectives.
Carolina Perez, a HundrED Youth Academy Member and student of Pedagogy at UCM, Madrid, will host the discussion. Perez will be joined by two of our HundrED Global 2019 innovators.
Vishal Sharma is the Founder of SMILES in Education, India, an organization that teaches wellbeing and mindfulness in classroom management practices.
Joining Vishal will be Kirsten Simmons of Talking Tree Hill, an outdoor educational facility in New Zealand that combines “the wacky conscious creativity of Dr. Seuss, the heart and soul of forest and bush Schools, the entrepreneurship and innovation of the Green School and the beauty of Reggio Emilia.”
HundrED’s Head of Community Pukhraj Ranjan and Researcher Frederika Warren will also be on the call.
You are warmly invited to join us for an interactive conversation on holistic wellbeing in education! The conversation will take place via Zoom on December 14th, 1400-1530 UTC. All are welcome to take part, simply sign up here.
