About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

We wanted to use framework: Inspire (Insight & Instruct), Design & Build, Improving (ReDo & ReThink) for helping youth and kids in stress in Ukraine (refugees, distance learning, lack of communication and knowledge). We use basic terms of circular approach: rethink, reuse, recycle, redesign, refuse, reduce, repair, refurbish, remanufacture to re-focus kids attention

What does your innovation look like in practice?

We organised 18 workshops for urban and rural kids with practical use of different terms of product design and circualr economy.

How has it been spreading?

Our goal is to organise network of camps and hubs of circular makerspaces

If I want to try it, what should I do?

1. Develop and adapt learning program according to your tools and resources
2. Select location - we did it in the geodome in the park - you will need place for workshops
3. Think on security measures - about usage of electric tools, you will access to electricity as well
4. Provide participants with materials - you will need to select safe and non-poisonous plants
5. Use or translate instructions
