Register Now For January's Thematic Talk: Working Towards A Breadth of Skills In Education

Join HundrED Ambassadors and HundrED 2019 innovators on this live, interactive call. Register now.

Join us for this month’s interactive thematic talk on working towards a breadth of skills in education.

This global interactive discussion will be hosted by HundrED Ambassador Anoop Errakil, Head of Learning & Development at Qrius Learning Initiatives. Anoop is an engineering graduate from India, who switched career tracks into the education sector with a two-year teaching fellowship back in 2009. What followed has been a decade-long quest to understand what equity and excellence could really look like in our schooling system.

We are delighted that three of the HundrED 2019 innovators will also be joining the conversation!

Sami Heino, Advisory teacher in the City of Hämeenlinna, Finland, will be representing Student Agents. Student Agents is a Finnish innovation that equips young people to share their ICT skills with their whole school community, supporting and training teachers and students alike. In 2019 it was recognized by HundrED for the second year running.

Leah Clapman, Founder of PBS News Hour Student Reporting Labs, will also be on the call. PBS News Hour is a US based, project-based learning program that uses a powerful form of journalistic inquiry, media production and local-national mentorship to build critical thinking, problem-solving, information and communication skills.

We’ll also be joined by Ryan Ball, HundrED Academy Member and Founder of Youth Made Initiative, Malaysia. Youth Made Initiative is a collaboration of education and industry to help to try and contextualize Design & Technology for students. It began in Malaysia just over 12 months ago and it has now grown to 3 countries.
