A hybrid & active approach to STEAM integration

place Morocco

From traditional thinkers to expert innovators, a revolutionary path

In Morocco, theoretical teaching of all subjects in general, and science subjects in particular, is failing to produce graduates who are ready for the future. The hybrid, active model we propose takes advantage of every opportunity, from traditional classrooms to school clubs and recreation centers, to integrate hands-on learning through STEAM activities.

Our main goal was to establish an even stronger presence in public schools, especially those in disadvantaged areas. We dream of seeing our active teaching methods become a lever for social justice. We aspire to maintain the percentage of girls at around 54%, making gender parity a reality, and transform education by equipping teachers with tools and methods that revolutionize their practices.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

In Morocco, we have identified a critical gap: a theoretical education system that fails to equip young people, especially girls and those living in rural areas, with essential STEAM skills. We created this innovation to bridge that gap, to transform students from passive learners into active innovators ready to take on the challenges of the future.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Our innovation consists of a hybrid and active learning path. It begins by sparking curiosity through public workshops (Discover), then deepens engagement through school and extracurricular robotics and programming clubs (Engage). The final stage (Transform) immerses young people in long-term, project-based challenges where they solve real-world problems, taking ownership of the process from idea to prototype.

How has it been spreading?

It has grown thanks to a well-thought-out hybrid model. Our main achievements over the past two years are as follows:
- Creation of more than 200 robotics clubs in Moroccan public schools, ensuring deep local roots.
- National coverage, reaching 100% of Morocco's regions.
- Mobilization of a network of more than 1,200 volunteers.
- Direct benefits for more than 24,000 young people.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

We embrace a philosophy of open communication. Any entity (school, NGO, or individual) can start a conversation with us by simply contacting us via email.
For interested children and young people, activities are accessible through our network of partner schools and public centers. Visit our website for event schedules and club locations.
