We created Emokit to address a critical gap in early childhood education: the absence of structured emotional learning. Many children between the ages of 3 and 9 lack the tools to name and manage their emotions, and their caregivers often lack the resources to support them effectively.
Our goal was to create an accessible, engaging, and community-driven solution that promotes emotional intelligence as a foundational skill. Emokit was born from the belief that emotional education must be rooted in love, guided by play, and supported by a network of adults who model empathy, emotional regulation, and connection.
In practice, Emokit is a multisensory and narrative-based learning experience. Children interact with illustrated stories, emotion character cards, drawing and movement activities, guided games, and simple breathing exercises. These are structured through didactic sequences designed for both classroom and home use.
Meanwhile, families and educators receive training tools such as practical guides, activity packs, and workshops. Everything is designed to foster a shared emotional language and support system around the child. Emokit is also evolving into a digital platform that will host interactive content, emotional games, and progress tracking.
Emokit has been implemented in several preschool classrooms in Colombia, where teachers and families have embraced it as a powerful tool for emotional education. Word of mouth, educational fairs, and digital content shared through platforms like Hotmart and social media have helped increase visibility.
We are currently building a network of psychologists, educators, and caregivers to form the "Emokit Community," and we’re preparing to scale through our digital platform to reach families and schools in Latin America and beyond.
We’ve adapted Emokit based on real classroom experiences, feedback from families, and emotional development experts. Initially focused on children only, the program now actively involves caregivers and teachers through personalized guidance and training.
We’ve also diversified the formats: from physical kits and storybooks to digital resources, printable materials, and soon, an interactive online platform. Our next step is to co-create specialized emotional kits for different groups, such as neurodiverse children or emotionally at-risk populations.
Anyone interested in trying Emokit can visit our website or Hotmart store to access digital kits, illustrated emotional stories, and printable resources. Educators can request classroom-ready materials and training guides.
We also offer webinars, emotional literacy challenges, and personalized guidance to help parents and teachers apply the method with confidence. Soon, our digital platform will offer subscriptions with monthly content, live sessions, and progress tracking tools for children aged 3 to 9.
