We created Vivedus to transform education by addressing a critical gap: traditional education systems largely neglect creative intelligence, focusing instead on content recall and standardised testing. But in an AI-driven world, the ability to think creatively, solve problems, and adapt is more important than ever.
Vivedus was created to:
1. Activate the creative intelligence of every student, not just the academically gifted.
2. Empower educators with the tools, pedagogies, and data they need to design powerful learning experiences that foster creativity.
3. Provide school leaders with clear, actionable insights into the quality of teaching and learning across their school so they can support teachers to grow.
4. Bridge the gap between theory and practice using decades of research on the dispositions that underpin little-c creativity and the pedagogies that activate them.
5. Support teachers by reducing their workloads so they can focus on what they love the most, students and teaching.
6. Drive meaningful change, offering a strategic pathway for whole-school transformation.
At its heart, Vivedus is a movement — one that recognises that creativity is not a luxury, but a necessity in preparing young people for a rapidly changing future.
We’ve embedded decades of research into an AI-enabled SaaS Platform, licensed by schools and designed specifically for teachers. It’s their go-to space for planning powerful learning experiences.
The Platform aligns with each school’s local curriculum. Once a teacher selects the learning outcomes they want to target, our AI assistant offers tailored professional development , helping them shift from just delivering content to teaching both creatively and for creativity. The assistant then generates a customised Unit Overview and lesson plans, designed around the specific needs of their students. Teachers receive feedback on their planning and their practice through the Platform, benchmarked against national professional teaching standards.
As teachers plan, school leaders receive real-time insights, interpreted by the AI, into the quality of teaching and learning across classrooms. These insights support the creation of a school culture that nurtures creativity and drives whole-school improvement.
In partnership with the University of Melbourne, we’ve also developed assessment tools that allow teachers to measure and report on a student’s creative thinking via a dynamic Student Learner Profile.
We started building the Platform in 2024. Already four schools in Australia are using it with another two schools about to come on board, both government and non-government schools. We are in conversation with International schools in Southeast Asia and hoping to partner with a school in Vietnam shortly. Our product is globally scalable. All we need to do is to link a school's local curriculum with our Platform
Schools can licence the Platform now. We are releasing a single-teacher licence in September of this year and continue to design features that will make it even more exciting. The next stage of development is the creation of a Community of Practice that will allow teachers to collaborate across schools and/or share their planning. This feature will not only activate across school, and hopefully country collaboration, but also provide access to high-quality planning to schools who perhaps do not have a qualified teacher in every curriculum area.
