The main purpose of creating this innovation was as young citizen's of Bangladesh and the next generation of future leaders, through this innovation our team wishes to showcase our concerns and actions to address the devastating state of Bangladesh's water bodies. So that we can truly say and believe that Project EcoWave will always be working towards a safer and better Bangladesh.
Project EcoWave is an non-profit youth female lead organization, based on raising awareness and taking tangible actions towards the distressed state of Bangladesh’s water bodies. Project EcoWave is a part of The World Around Young Climate Prize Cohort 2024, which is an New York, USA based organization, which provides mentorship and weekly design academies to help Project EcoWave and gain traction. Project EcoWave has a soft-launch website and a social media account to spread awareness. Project EcoWave also has routine clean ups in lakes and rivers such as the Dhanmondi Lake. Project EcoWave aims for healthier water bodies in Bangladesh. Project EcoWave is making plans to create an IOT system which helps us extensive clean up the waterbodies of Bangladesh.
Project EcoWave started off as a soft launch website which included article and self- tutoring videos which were available worldwide. Our website has proof of the scientific water test we conducted to asses the severity of the pollution level in Bangladesh. Through this online media outlets Project EcoWave has gained national and international attention, in the second phase we have conducted tangible clean-ups with the help of NGOs with gained attention from various media outlets which covered our movement as well as encouraged community engagement and inspired hope among the younger demographic, letting the world know that there are young individual capable of doing such work for the environment and for Bangladesh.
