Raising future researchers and global leaders in STEM to stand tall on the shoulders of Giants.

The majority of young talents lack access to a modern and effective education in STEM beyond the school syllabus. We unlock their potential by providing expert guidance, bespoke courses and self-study materials online. Our teaching emphasizes advanced learning skills and problem-solving techniques to help students to excel in their academic pursuits faster and attack real world problems sooner.

High-ability students should have access to resources that can enhance their passion and skills. Personalised education depending on each student's need is a missing part in society, as many young people are deviating from their dreams due to country disadvantages and barriers imposed because of their age. Advanced learning skills and personal knowledge management should be part of the curriculum.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

A vast majority of high-ability students lacks access to adequate guidance and high-level education in STEM, tailored to their needs and curiosity. This limited access deprives them of opportunities to develop their interests and abilities effectively, which can hinder their ability to reach their full potential and make valuable contributions to the scientific community.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

We nurture students' individual interests by providing mentorship, resources to promote growth and development. In addition to academic subjects, PhysicsBeyond focuses on developing students' soft skills, such as advanced and effective learning skills, personal knowledge management, mental health awareness, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. The tools used to connect students are completely online, equipping them with competencies related to 21-century technology. We offer different programs, Physics From a Researcher's Point of View; open to curious minds, BeyondResearch; for a specific target group of dedicated talents to be directly taught and mentored by a researcher, and PTGS; to help talented but disadvantaged students from developing countries to close their gaps in education empowering them to apply to Ivy League universities.
Feedback reported a 100% positive change in students' thinking about STEM and appreciation of the learned skills since establishment.

How has it been spreading?

The active participation of students in our community has enabled them to challenge themselves every week and acquire exceptional knowledge and skills. As a result, some participants have opted to participate in one or more of the advertised competitions, either individually or as a team, and have successfully applied for other highly selective STEM education programs. Furthermore, some students are presently conducting research.
We want the world to recognize and address the fact that there are different levels of talent, dedication, and interest. We plan to increase our impact by consolidating a link between learners and seasoned professionals. Mentorship will be available for those who need it, so they learn from experts. Professionals will have access to a pool of motivated students.

PhysicsBeyond is offering a range of programmes and opportunities for developing young talents in STEM, as well as a common online platform for intellectual exchange. For teachers, educators: learn our methodology
We believe in youth power, we do not impose barriers in their learning. We provide them with specific resources they need for advancing in their future path. Our approach is holistic and innovative, where the student has their own pace and the content is built around it. The idea is to teach effective learning skills and management of their time, as well as keep in mind their mental health while they are exposed to higher-level situations.
