Phenomenon-Based Learning are critical in keeping students engaged in face-to-face and virtual classes. Framing learning through these multi-layered and globally directed projects are indicative in developing the student agency necessary to empower our youths to access their inner resources to create the world they want to live in. Divisive changes worldwide are addressed in innovative ways.
Phenomenon-Based Learning is designed to encourage students to propose, research and suggest creative solutions to global issues. Though encouraged by many educational departments worldwide, the structure given in this innovation is original and the only one that addresses all aspects of the methodology. With the outlined framework, teachers are easily led to create their own projects, with methods to specifically develop all principal and ancillary factors such as creating a learning environment that insists on an ethic of excellence and culture of trust.
We have been introducing the structure of Phenomenon-Based Learning through face-to-face and virtual workshops, helping teachers around the world create projects personalised to their needs and/or offering the project we created ourselves called Ant-Racism: Proactive and Positive Global Changes.
The Phenomenon-Based Learning structure designed by the authors, is available in a 5-volume set of books self-published and uploaded in Smashwords.com. The Anti-Racism project is available at one of the author's webpages scaffoldingmagic.com.
