OMO Mentorship for Real-World Expression

Empower teachers and students through AI-scaffolding writing and ESG-driven corporate mentorship.

In the era of short-form media, children face a crisis in logical expression. Our platform provides a "Cognitive Scaffold" using AI to generate structural advice and human volunteers for emotional guidance and writing. By training corporate volunteers to empower local teachers, we bridge the digital divide and transform AI into a sustainable tool for literacy and logical thinking in schools.

We envision writing as a universal right. By using AI as a "cognitive scaffold" to ignite human potential and establishing a "Circular Mentorship" between corporations and schools, we aim to build a resilient and human-centric educational ecosystem. Our "Light-Touch, High-Impact" model converts corporate ESG into standardized "Mentorship Kits." Through a "Train-the-Trainer" approach, we ensure digital literacy remains sustainable within the school system. Utilizing an Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) teaching approach, Colearn30 with MediaTek volunteer club and NYCU EE has reached 50+ institutions and 2,700+ users since 2020. To date, we have delivered over 100 campus sessions and published a total of five books. By collaborating with the University of Hawaii and Indian engineers, we have also introduced an international dimension, offering students immersive cross-cultural exchange experiences. By mobilizing nearly 400 volunteers, we have successfully catalyzed systemic social mobility.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

Colearn30 was founded to address three converging crises in the modern educational landscape:

1. The Erosion of Logical Expression: The dominance of short-form social media has fragmented students' attention, leaving them able to react impulsively but struggling to construct sustained, logical arguments. Writing is often seen as a disconnected academic chore rather than a tool for making sense of life.

2. The Structural AI Divide: While AI is transforming industries, a widening literacy gap exists in classrooms. Front-line teachers, especially in under-resourced schools, are overwhelmed by administrative burdens and lack a structured pathway to integrate AI as a "cognitive scaffold" safely and effectively.

3. The Missed Potential of ESG: Corporations possess immense intellectual capital and a desire to contribute. However, traditional ESG often remains at the level of financial aid due to a lack of operational channels to integrate professional mentorship directly into the curriculum.

We created Colearn30 to build a sustainable OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) bridge. We transform corporate resources into active mentorship and provide AI-driven tools that relieve teacher burnout while igniting students' intrinsic motivation to express their authentic selves to the world.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

In practice, Colearn30 operates as a triadic OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) ecosystem. It begins with our platform’s "Warm AI", which provides students with a cognitive scaffold to overcome "blank-page paralysis" and filters basic logical errors. This allows teachers to shift from tedious grading to high-level mentoring. Crucially, we use AI to standardize and reduce the cost of volunteer training. Well-trained MediaTek volunteers use our AI-powered tool-kits to quickly master pedagogical feedback, allowing them to become effective classroom assistants immediately. Whether through online feedback or offline "Local Experience Tours," students engage in authentic dialogue with real-world mentors, transforming writing from a dry academic task into a meaningful expression of life.

How has it been spreading?

Since 2020, Colearn30 has spread to 50+ institutions, ranging from remote rural schools to top-tier urban high schools, reaching over 2,700+ active users. Our spread is fueled by a "Light-Touch, High-Impact" scalability model: we convert complex corporate ESG resources into standardized "Mentorship Kits." By leveraging existing corporate volunteerism, we have mobilized nearly 400 volunteers without exhausting school budgets. Through a "Train-the-Trainer" approach, the digital literacy and mentoring capacity remain within the school system long after the volunteers leave, ensuring sustainable growth across diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

We have recently evolved from a writing tool into a comprehensive "Teacher-Support System." Based on frontline feedback, we added a "Return-for-Revision" mechanism and "Coach-Binding Codes" to give teachers granular control over classroom progress. To deepen impact, we launched monthly online "Teacher Community Sharing" sessions and a cross-disciplinary "Wisdom Reading" initiative, broadening students' intellectual horizons. Our effectiveness is now data-proven: by a student's 6th submission, average logic scores rise from 6.56 to 7.06—a phenomenon we call the "Magic Number" effect.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Getting started with Colearn30 is seamless for teachers and organizations.

1. Digital Onboarding: Teachers can register via our official website or LINE OA to access the "Colearn30" writing platform and standardized lesson plans.

2. Resource Matching: Schools can apply for our OMO mentorship program, where we match classroom needs with trained corporate volunteers for bilingual feedback or local experiential tours.

3. Training: We provide online workshops to help educators integrate AI as a cognitive scaffold while maintaining human-centric connection. Visit [colearn30.com] or join our LINE [https://lin.ee/9Y0geqo] to launch your first session.

Implementation steps

Step 1: Digital Onboarding & Educator Training
Teachers or school coordinators register on the Colearn30 platform or via our official LINE OA. Educators undergo a brief "Train-the-Trainer" orientation to understand how to use AI as a "cognitive scaffold" for writing and how to manage the classroom via the dashboard.
Step 2: AI-Powered Cognitive Scaffolding
Students begin their writing process on the platform. Our AI Cognitive Scaffold generates a logical Beginning-Middle-End structure based on the student's chosen topic. This "deliberately incomplete" framework removes the common "blank-page paralysis" while ensuring the authentic voice and ideas remain the student’s own.
Step 3: Real-World Experience & Sensory Tours
To ground writing in lived reality, students participate in offline experiential learning, such as local community tours or sensory walks. By interacting with their environment, students gather the "raw materials" of emotion and observation that give their writing life and substance.
Step 4: Hybrid Mentorship & Corporate Volunteer Feedback
Well-trained volunteers use our standardized Mentorship Kits to provide high-quality feedback. While AI filters basic logical errors, these human mentors focus on high-level critical thinking and emotional resonance, areas where human connection is irreplaceable.
Step 5: From Experiential Practice to Professional Publication
Students synthesize insights from diverse offline activities (customized via teacher proposals) with our platform’s cognitive scaffolding to produce coherent narratives. To conclude, teachers and students exercise collective agency to leverage the platform’s publishing resources for formal release as printed anthologies. This tangible shared achievement solidifies students’ long-term motivation and self-identity as recognized creators.
