We built MCT because millions in India’s public schools still rehearse facts while employers hunt for coders, data-creators and tinkerers. Central to this shift, teachers are undertrained and swamped. Our low-cost, scalable, teacher-led programme meets their realities with flexible, low-tech, classroom-ready support, providing them with simple tools and coaching to embed 21C education from within.
MCT brings 21st-century learning into India’s government classrooms by building teacher capacity directly in the environments where this support is most limited. In practice, MCT is a 24-week blended program - combining online, offline-accessible lessons on our proprietary platform QuestApp with webinars, in-person coaching and peer mentoring. Designed for overloaded, low-tech environments, it meets teachers where they are and gives them agency to adapt 21C pedagogy to their own classrooms. Each module provides simple, practical techniques for inquiry-based, inclusive and future-focused learning that teachers can apply immediately with their students.
Evidence affirms these shifts: 81% of teachers feel more confident teaching 21C skills, 91% use technology effectively, and students demonstrate a 16% improvement in critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
In the last 2 years, MCT has grown by adapting to diverse government school realities, proving effective in both low-tech, resource-poor classrooms and better-resourced settings. It has reached 17400 teachers across India, with module completion rates rising to 94%, a 10-15% shift toward active, inclusive pedagogy, and a 25% increase in digital fluency. Students show clear gains, including a 16% improvement in critical thinking, collaboration and creativity.
Over the next 2–3 years, MCT aims to strengthen its model by building upon our existing learnings:
- Tighten feedback loops on teachers’ assignments
- Integrate an AI-enabled bot - offering real-time support to teachers
- Deepening peer-learning communities and recognition pathways for local champions
- Curating and sharing best practices
- Generating stronger evidence
- Embedding content & delivery approaches within state systems for long-term scale
Anyone in India can start MCT by visiting the QuestApp website or downloading the app on Play Store. After registration, teachers can access all course modules.
Organisations seeking the full model (webinars, coaching, and peer network support) will need to contact us. We will then train their local teams after alignment, share adaptable content, and help contextualise and translate MCT for their setting.
