How does your innovation work in practice?

Makers Empire is a fun and easy to use 3D Design & Technology program to support primary, elementary and middle school teachers in effectively implementing STEM and international Design & Technology curriculum.

Teachers use our pioneering tools and resources:
1) Makers Empire 3D Software - students use the Makers Empire 3D app created for 5-12 YO children as an immersive, fun and safe learning environment.

How has it been spreading?

We work primarily with schools. We have partnered with education departments, ministries and sponsors for rollouts to groups of 200+ schools in Australia, the USA and the UAE. Rolling out to large groups helps create sustainable & scalable networks and systemic change.

We have partnered with universities, research groups and organisations to collect data showing evidence of our impact on learning outcomes. Makers Empire has also received numerous accreditations, awards and endorsements from education and Edtech organisations.

Makers Empire helps 29,000+ educators teach Design Thinking and STEM using 3D design and printing to 2,400,000 students in 51 countries around the world. Students have created more than 50 million designs using Makers Empire - that's 100,000 new designs each day!

Student exposure to 3D design from early ages promotes confidence in math ability as well as visual perception skills. This is a fun way to learn and socialise that results in a physical product.
