As an Afghan girl, I’ve faced challenges that shaped my drive to overcome barriers and find my voice. LeadEd was created to empower youth, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, to build confidence, discover their passions, and make informed decisions for their future. Through leadership training, public speaking, and mental health support.
In practice, LeadEd looks like a dynamic program that combines interactive workshops, mentorship, and real-world application.
Workshops & Sessions: We offer leadership development through hands-on activities, public speaking exercises, and mental health awareness sessions. These workshops are designed to build confidence, resilience, and effective communication.
Mentorship: Participants are paired with mentors who guide them through challenges, helping them discover their passions, set goals, and navigate personal and professional decisions.
Community Engagement: LeadEd hosts events where youth can practice leadership skills, engage in group discussions, and present ideas on topics that matter to them.
Resources & Support: Access to tools, readings, and workshops on mental health, goal-setting, and leadership strategies, ensuring ongoing support for each individual.
Partnerships with schools and universities: We run workshops and seminars to engage youth and expand our reach in local communities.
Social media & digital presence: LeadEd shares content on leadership, public speaking, and mental health, connecting with young people across various regions.
Youth ambassadors: Trained ambassadors promote LeadEd, creating organic growth by sharing their experiences with peers.
Workshops & events: Leadership summits and community events increase visibility and inspire participants to spread the word.
Mentorship networks: Influential leaders in our mentorship network strengthen the program’s credibility and expand its reach across communities.
