Elggo was founded in response to the heightened need for youth mental health support following the COVID-19 pandemic and the Beirut Blast of 2020, which underscored the critical lack of accessible and culturally relevant mental health resources in the MENA region's K-12 education system.
Elggo is an AI-driven mental health platform used in K-12 schools across the MENA region. It includes class sessions with ready-to-use lesson plans and interactive activities focused on mental health. The platform also offers personalized learning paths for students based on AI analysis, helping them with their individual mental health needs. Elggo detects mood changes in students and can connect them to professional help if needed. It's integrated into school systems, making it a regular part of the educational experience.
Elggo began spreading through a clinical trial involving 12,000 students in 32 schools, where a 30% increase in average student wellbeing was demonstrated by the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index.
Post-trial, we developed our MVP (Minimum Viable Product), focusing on scalability and cultural relevance for the MENA region.
Currently, Elggo is expanding across MENA, partnering with schools and education networks, leveraging the trial's success and the platform's tailored approach to student mental health. This strategy has been pivotal in demonstrating Elggo's value to potential partners and users in the region.
