“With Diplomind, I want education to go beyond memorization and inspire critical thinking, self-awareness, and global understanding. My goal is to empower young people in the Middle East to be politically aware, psychologically mature, and ready to lead with empathy, combining diplomacy and psychology for a more inclusive future.”

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

“I created Diplomind because in Egypt and the wider Middle East, there are no programs that combine diplomacy, psychology, and critical thinking to guide young people. Too often, youth are left without opportunities to understand politics, to reflect on themselves, or to connect their personal growth with global awareness. I saw this as more than just a gap—it was a lost generation waiting for a voice. Diplomind was born to give that voice: to inspire young people to think deeply, act diplomatically, and grow into resilient, empathetic leaders who can transform not only their own communities, but the world.”

What does your innovation look like in practice?

“In practice, Diplomind is a dynamic program where students engage in workshops that combine diplomacy, psychology, and leadership. For example, participants start with self-reflection sessions guided by psychological tools, then move into debates and simulations of real political situations, and finally practice diplomatic negotiation to find solutions. We also provide mentoring, online resources, and a community space where young people can share experiences and build projects together. It is not a theory-based initiative—it is a living lab where youth learn by doing, discussing, and leading.”

How has it been spreading?

“Yes, it has already started spreading. So far, I have taught and engaged more than 60 students through Diplomind programs, including workshops, podcasts, and interactive sessions, and the community is growing every day.”

If I want to try it, what should I do?

“If you want to try Diplomind, you can start by joining our podcast or one of our workshops. We also run summer programs where young people can experience the mix of diplomacy and psychology in practice. Just reach out through our social media or register online to get involved.”

Implementation steps

Getting Started with Diplomind: Simple Steps to Explore Diplomacy & Psychology
To implement Diplomind, students first register online or via social media. They then choose how to start—through a podcast, a workshop, or a summer program. In their first session, they explore the connection between diplomacy and psychology with real examples. Next, they engage in debates, role-plays, and reflection tasks to build awareness and critical thinking. Finally, they share their insights and apply them in school or community life.
