Amansultan is a response to the persistent challenges faced by Kazakhstan's education system:
— inequalities of access to quality education due to territorial disparities
— battle for screenagers’ attention: lack of effective means to teach students of the digital age
— poor national pedagogy that has failed to teach children how to apply knowledge to real-life problems
Even though a recipe for raising happy children doesn’t exist, we believe that ensuring all kids unleash their potential through learning is a way to go. Amansultan products are designed to address the most critical issues in education. We provide:
— standards-aligned digital content (animated films, practice tasks, quizzes) to make each topic in K-12 educational program engaging and easy to understand
— configurable platform to support teachers’ needs (introduce new topics, customize lessons, assign homework, monitor students’ progress)
— on-demand or custom professional development for teachers
All Amansultan products are available in Kazakh and Russian. We are currently working on translating them into English to support trilingual education policy and for high scalability across Kazakhstan and to other countries.
Since starting Amansultan in 2021, we have provided access to our products to more than 500 schools in 5 regions of Kazakhstan and reached over 10 000 teachers directly and 300 000 students indirectly. We have held online and face-to-face workshops and training for educators in Almaty, Pavlodar, Aktobe, Turkestan, Aktau on how to use digital education resources effectively to enhance learning.
We currently have 85 000 users on our digital platform. Our goal in the next 3 years is to provide access to 18 regions of Kazakhstan and reach 25 000 teachers and 4 million students.
We are planning to create a digital tool for offline teaching and learning to reach users in rural areas with limited access to the Internet.
