To accomplish the goals of the project, It employs a variety of educational tools, all of which fall under the umbrella of raising awareness of the significance of cyber security in a manner that contributes to achieving the project and the National Agency for Cyber security's goals of protecting society from Internet risks and data security and privacy. In addition to a guide for teachers, the training tools include training and educational visual products, educational visual content, posters, and infographic designs, In addition to a guide for teachers.
Tackling these challenges is done by directing efforts towards children and young adults within the school environment, through a curriculum that has been implemented for all government schools 214 and 228 private schools in Qatar.
The Cybersecurity Education Curriculum project is an ongoing project that accompanies students in successive academic years rather than ending at the end of the academic year. Which supports and enhances its cumulative cognitive impact and promotes its ability to construct a cybersecure technologically experienced society.
In addition to this, as part of the strategy, an online platform with interactive content was also launched to raise awareness about digital safety concepts. The platform is available to the public in and outside Qatar.
The Cybersecurity Education Curricula is being further developed, and we will be launching a second renewed version of the program towards Q3 of 2025.
It will contain comprehensive cybersecurity educational packages including high-quality awareness videos, teacher and parent booklets, interactive quizzes, activity sheets, printed posters, and a simulation-based learning platform.
All materials will be produced in Arabic, English, and French, tailored for students, educators, and parents, and aligned with the National Cyber Security Agency and Ministry of Education & Higher Education objectives.
