As a young environmental activist, I've witnessed the devastating impact of waste on our planet. I created this innovation because I'm determined to make a difference. By leveraging AI technology, we're transforming waste sorting, increasing recycling rates, and paving the way for a more sustainable future.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

In practice, our innovation involves the installation of smart bins equipped with AI-powered sorting mechanisms in public areas, homes, and businesses. These bins feature a single disposal point where users can deposit their waste without the need for pre-sorting. Upon disposal, the AI system inside the bin automatically identifies and sorts the waste into separate compartments based on its type and recyclability. This seamless process ensures efficient waste sorting without requiring users to manually separate their waste, ultimately promoting convenience and improving recycling rates.
