We hope to shift education from passive instruction to playful exploration. Too often, children are expected to follow answers, not ask questions. AhhaOhho empowers them to lead with curiosity, imagination, and creativity. We envision a world where every child—regardless of background—can learn through making, experimenting, and sharing, not just listening.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

We created AhhaOhho to reach children who lack access to creative learning unless guided by parents or privileged environments. Hands-on, curiosity-driven experiences often require time, resources, and adult support—out of reach for many. We believe every child deserves to explore their imagination. AhhaOhho removes those barriers, delivering creative, playful learning wherever children are.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

AhhaOhho is a mobile app where children engage in creative, hands-on missions sparked by playful prompts. Each begins with an open-ended challenge like “Mini LEGO Parachute Racing,” “Find the Hidden Parasite,” or “Create a Language for a New World, New Human.” These quirky topics invite children to build, draw, or invent using everyday materials.

Children freely interpret the prompts—designing parachutes, imagining parasite creatures, or inventing alphabets. The goal isn’t to be right, but to explore and express creatively.

The app offers simple guidance, fun visuals, and intuitive design so kids can use it on their own. Friendly AI gives curiosity-boosting feedback like “What would happen with more wings?” Kids can share projects in a peer gallery, gaining inspiration and confidence.

We designed AhhaOhho works in homes, schools, and community spaces—even in low-tech settings. It turns everyday moments into joyful chances for creative discovery.

How has it been spreading?

AhhaOhho has spread through the Future Learning Collective—a group of educators from schools, youth centers, and alternative learning spaces. Together, we explored how AhhaOhho could be used meaningfully in classrooms and informal education.

We also led creative workshops with children at local community centers, where access to hands-on learning is often limited. These sessions showed how AhhaOhho’s prompts spark imagination and joy across diverse settings.

Interest is growing through educator networks, and we’re preparing for a public beta launch—starting with Korea, followed by releases on global app stores with multilingual support.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

You can try AhhaOhho by signing up as a Closed Beta Tester. We offer a set of free missions using simple, everyday materials. Educators, parents, and curious kids can request access through our website or by contacting our team. No prior experience is needed—just imagination and the willingness to explore through creative play.

Implementation steps

Sign up for Closed Beta or wait for App Store launch
Currently, AhhaOhho is available through Closed Beta. You can sign up on our website to access the app via TestFlight or app distribution. Once the app is publicly released on the App Store, anyone will be able to download and start using it directly—no registration required.
Explore challenges and prepare simple materials
Open the app and browse a variety of playful challenges like “Mini LEGO Parachute Racing” or “Create a Language for a New World.” Choose a mission that fits your learners. You’ll only need basic, everyday materials like paper, tape, or building blocks—no special equipment required.
Let children create, reflect, and share
Children can jump right in and interpret each mission their own way—through drawing, building, or storytelling. As they upload their work, the app offers AI-generated feedback and lets them see other children's ideas. After each project, take a moment to reflect and ask: “What inspired you?” or “What would you change?”
