Technology that leverages reading and learning rates is the alternative for boosting these indicators. Bringing inclusive educational technology to all students, regardless of region, is a technological, inclusive, and autonomous device. It aims to promote access to knowledge and facilitate teachers' pedagogical activities in the classroom and beyond.
The Giroteca Mobile Digital Library was designed to immediately offer schools different reading practices, strengthening the culture of reading and writing, teaching the collective use of public goods, and contributing to the development of socio-emotional skills such as solidarity and cooperation. The Giroteca Mobile Library is an innovative concept of Technological and Inclusive Mobile Libraries that aims to provide students with access to knowledge and facilitate teachers in developing their pedagogical practices in the classroom and beyond. In practice, the Mobile Library (GIROTECA) is an Educational Technology with a rich literary collection comprised of:
a) 2,000 physical books;
b) 1 Digital Library with 4,000 works;
c) 1 Automated Map Library;
d) 1 Automated Technological Table with 53 Technological Equipment;
e) 1 of its Personalized Literary Collections with a diverse number of works dedicated to Traffic Education, plus the 37 Brazilian titles that are part of the list of Works recommended by the UN, through the Development Program (PENUD), registered under the Sustainable Development (SDG) designation.
Closely linked to the academic world, the libraries benefit the entire school community, but the students benefit most from them, as they will have access to the structure for reading practices, further strengthening the culture of reading and writing, teaching the collective use of public resources, and contributing to the development of socio-emotional skills such as solidarity and cooperation, factors that are very relevant in this age group. The methodological strategies selected for mediation training seek to empower the participating teaching team to share knowledge related to literary reading in schools, both in the library and classroom environments, through the use of printed and digital materials that cover both dimensions: the pedagogical and social dimensions, and the scientific and technological dimensions, with a clear emphasis on the inclusion of the entire community that flows through the Giroteca Mobile Digital Library project.
In fact, as time goes by, we'll make small adjustments, let's say in the technological area as a kind of monitoring, but we haven't made any changes to the Innovation area's name. This part, which deals with the maintenance of the equipment and materials that make up the Giroteca Móvel Digital Library, will be emphasized during the Teacher, Manager, and Coordinator Training. They will receive full guidance on handling books and computer equipment, so that beneficiaries can plan to cover the costs of replacing essential parts in each of the libraries installed.
