Unravel emerged out of a concern for the limitations of existing cognitive training apps, especially regarding the crucial issue of skill transfer, particularly for children. The inability of these apps to effectively translate learned skills into real-world applications places children at a significant disadvantage. Unlike adults who have resources and experiences to compensate, children do not.
Unravel is divided into categories of cognitive skills, including attention and memory, logical reasoning, and basic math and English-related critical thinking questions. Each category offers engaging games and challenges that not only develop specific cognitive abilities but also encourage practical application in real-life contexts. Simply put, it features games inspired by real-life scenarios to enhance cognitive skills. For instance, memory games simulate remembering a shopping list, while hand-eye coordination challenges mimic assessing the safest spot to score in a football match within a time limit. These experiences not only entertain but also develop practical cognitive abilities. By blending gameplay with real-world contexts, Unravel ensures that children can seamlessly apply their learned skills outside the app, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in everyday situations.
Unravel's organic growth, surpassing 700 downloads on the Google Play Store without any marketing, underscores its inherent appeal and effectiveness. As satisfied users spread the word about their positive experiences, interest in the app continues to surge. This grassroots momentum speaks to Unravel's ability to meet a genuine need for accessible and engaging cognitive training, driving its ongoing spread and impact. Subsequently, once all our features are ready (Since we are still in the finals stages to implement an AI game recommendation feature), we will market it through social media and we expect to get thousands of downloads in a month. Moreover, we also plan to launch it to the app store once that is done since right now it is only on the google play store.
To try Unravel, simply download the app from the Google Play Store and create an account. Once registered, you can start exploring our range of brain teasers and cognitive exercises. Keep an eye out for updates as we continue to develop new features. We are going to release an AI feature soon to recommend games soon to further enhance your experience. Its in the final stages currently.
