Math has been stereotyped as a subject which is all about numbers and formulas and narrowed down to technicals. Math as a subject lays the very foundation of design thinking which is the need of the hour.
Hence UnMath School was started in 2012 to spread the creative language of Math.
To make the learning of Math a celebration beyond boundaries, we intertwine mathematics and fun. We design our lesson plans on the basis of three models:
CREI Model - extensively researched and built to enhance creativity, relevance, exploration and investigation in the field of Mathematics in daily life.
SLA (Subconscious Learning Approach) - The idea of SLA is to highlight how math has been infiltrated everywhere in the trajectory of life and help the students to unearth this language, thereby avoiding the development of the web of myth in their minds.
AR Model - The Acceptance-Rejection approach helps the students to figure out the feasibility of the problem statement before jumping right into the search for a solution.
Our model is an amalgamation of technology and creativity and the fact that we have been able to bring happy smiles in Math classrooms is a testimony to the fact that we are on the right path.
Over the last 10 years, our main objective has been the massive reach to the children in different nooks and corners of the world. The fact that we have been able to create hands on experiences driven by students in an online set up and reinforce the interpretation of the subject in day to day transactions has set us apart and helped to built a strong sense of satisfaction and trust among our stakeholders.
In the next few years, we see ourselves as evangelists of Math as a language, which is spoken as well as beautifully interpreted in its real sense by each and everyone.
