The United Community Nepal (UniCoN), a non-profit, non-governmental social organization, was founded in March 2022 with the goal of bringing culture and innovation together to enrich learning opportunities for women and children. UniCoN will provide inspiration and resources to our community’s most disadvantaged and underserved populations.

Why did you create this innovation?

To improve living conditions and create opportunities for at least 10,000 marginalized and stigmatized women and children through gender equality, wellness, education, social mobility, and community impact programs by 2030.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

To strengthen our community’s most disadvantaged and underserved populations (women and children) through programming that brings culture and innovation together to enrich learning opportunities creating a brighter tomorrow.

How has it been spreading?

To make a meaningful difference in the lives of disadvantaged and stigmatized women and children by increasing access to civil rights advocacy, quality education, and employment opportunities.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

● To carry out projects and programs that are beneficial and supportive to women and children.
● Advocate for and lead gender equality and social inclusion initiatives.
● To conduct various awareness campaigns, capacity building, socio-economic and workforce development training for the women and children in the community.
