Why did you create this innovation?

At the core of my philosophy lies a dedication to creating a child-friendly future where technology, and all things modern, serves as a force for good. Extending this, by advocating for responsible tech practices and policies, TIVEA seeks to ensure that AI and emerging technologies prioritize the well-being, safety, and rights of children.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

TIVEA is a youth-led organization pioneering responsible tech innovation to foster a safer and more equitable digital future. Through frequent stage events and an online community, TIVEA facilitates thoughtful discourse and idea-sharing among members. Scheduled for release in May 2024, the TIVEA app serves as an educational social network powered by responsible AI algorithms, curating diverse, inclusive, and accurate content for users. TIVEA also conducts peer-reviewed research on topics such as the societal impacts of technology and youth development, aiming to inform policy and practice in the tech industry. With upcoming releases exploring themes like the future of tech innovation and the relationship between technology and creativity, TIVEA remains committed to shaping a responsible tech landscape that prioritizes the well-being and empowerment of future generations.

How has it been spreading?

TIVEA has significantly expanded its influence by actively participating in international forums such as the UN Dialogue on Strengthening Youth Capacity and the Capacity Building for Grassroots Women in Climate Action through Storytelling UN Workshop. Through partnerships with organizations like the Paris Committee on Capacity-building and support from buildspace and Children's First Canada, TIVEA has strengthened its reach. By lobbying for algorithmic justice and advocating for climate action through petitions and partnerships with the World Food Forum and the United Nations Development Programme, TIVEA has become a recognized force for positive change globally.
