The Socrates educational Model

Aligning K-10 education with cognitive development, real-world value creation, and adaptive AI

The SÓCRATES Educational Framework (v6.1) replaces industrial schooling with neurocognitive alignment, real-world value creation, and adaptive AI evaluation. Grounded in brain development stages, it features the PRAXIS Sandbox—where students build real projects and financial literacy from grade 5 to 10—and Socratic AI engines that test active reasoning instead of rote memorization.

The fundamental change SÓCRATES hopes to bring to education is a systemic shift from 19th-century passive memorization to a modern paradigm centered on intellectual agency, adaptive reasoning, and real-world value creation. For over a century, traditional schooling has treated students as passive receivers of standardized data, evaluating them on short-term memory recall rather than deep comprehension. SÓCRATES envisions an educational ecosystem where learning respects biological readiness: content is precisely calibrated across three neurodevelopmental tiers so children grapple with complex concepts only when their brains are neurologically mature to process them. Through the PRAXIS Sandbox, we aim to eliminate the artificial barrier between school and life, allowing students to design real-world projects, manage micro-enterprises, and build personal financial literacy starting as early as fifth grade. Furthermore, we seek to redefine assessment in the age of artificial intelligence. By replacing high-stakes standardized testing with open-information, Socratic AI evaluation engines, SÓCRATES shifts the focus from asking 'what do you remember?' to measuring 'how do you reason, synthesize, and solve complex problems?' Ultimately, our goal is to empower a generation of independent, highly capable learners who possess not just academic knowledge, but the practical autonomy, ethical grounding, and critical thinking required to navigate and shape an unpredictable future.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

I witnessed firsthand how the 19th-century industrial school model fails to prepare students for real life. I created SÓCRATES to replace rote memorization with a system built on three pillars: neurocognitive readiness, the PRAXIS Sandbox for real-world value creation, and adaptive AI reasoning assessment.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

In practice, SÓCRATES replaces traditional lectures with a dynamic K–10 model. Students progress through three cognitive tiers matching their brain development. Daily learning connects directly to the PRAXIS Sandbox, where students manage real-world projects and finances. Assessments use adaptive AI to test active reasoning via open-web dialogue rather than memorization.

How has it been spreading?

As an independent research initiative, the framework has established its bilingual web platform and documentation (https://socrates-framework50.netlify.app), and formal outreach is actively underway. Tailored institutional proposals and formal invitations for academic review, critique, and small-scale pilot programs are being systematically sent to global educational authorities, research bodies, and innovation networks—such as HundrED, Harvard GEII, UNESCO, UNICEF, Stanford Lytics Lab, educational ministries (including Chile and El Salvador), and international agencies like EDUFI in Finland.

The primary vector of spread is direct, high-level institutional engagement aimed at securing expert academic review and establishing pilot implementation partners.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

Through research iterations, SÓCRATES evolved into version 6.1, sharpening three core areas: calibrating curriculum tiers directly to neurodevelopmental readiness stages; expanding the PRAXIS Sandbox into an early-grade experiential framework; and refining Socratic AI engines for open-information reasoning assessment rather than memory testing.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

To try SÓCRATES, interested institutions can access the complete open documentation at https://socrates-framework50.netlify.app. From there, partners can submit critical feedback or request an exploratory consultation to design a small-scale, low-risk pilot program tailored to their classroom environment using our flexible Seed Level implementation guide
