The Bulleteen

STEM is a shared humanity

STEM isn’t just technical, but a unifying force for human connection, collaboration, and progress. Our dual focus is on philanthropy and the dissemination of STEM to empower communities and bridge accessibility gaps. The Bulleteen is a bimestrial STEM publication, run by teens, for teens. We have expanded our accessibility through a podcast and in-person sessions in underprivileged communities.

Target group
As mentioned before, I want to see that everyone can realise their potential, and one of the major ways to do that is through education. Since I have a STEM background personally, that is the area I want to target. I want to allow young students to be able to comfortably engage with ideas and innovations in STEM so that they can make an impact. We are looking at a higher outreach now, which will hopefully allow us to touch the lives of more people.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

Education is the door to creation. Everyone has ideas and the capacity to work towards the problems that humankind suffers, but not everyone has the resources to actualise their potential. The Bulleteen is an inclusive organisation that promotes education, specifically in STEM, to allow people to realised thier potential.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

This innovation has a few key sections. We have the publication/magazine that explores niche STEM topics, and we have the podcast that explores topics around the same themes, but offers an inclusive format and in-person sessions regarding STEM awareness and counselling in numerous cities in India. We are currently expanding our in-person sessions to other cities around the world.

How has it been spreading?

It has been spreading through social media and through numerous in-person campaigns worldwide.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

The inclusivity bits for people with different abilities.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Check out our socials and website.

Implementation steps

Bulleteen bi-monthly issues
Our niche issues can serve as sources of information and can be extended as study guides to niche topics if you want to use them for clubs. Additionally, they can be distributed among the underrepresented students for a fun way to gain knowledge in STEM.
Volunteering
We also accept anyone who would like to spread STEM awareness in-person worldwide. We aid with presentations, oration workshops, and other required help.
Podcast
Our podcast episodes can be shared with students with learning disabilities and children who would rather listen to the information.
Research Cohort
Every 6 months, Bulleteen's Director, who is a published student researcher, takes 2-3 students and helps them conduct small research projects. You can send us an email or ping us on social media to be a part of this.
