Target group
I in fact want and hope to see many changes in my community's education through my innovation of which the primary one is gender equality. My aim to promote awareness for gender equality and education quality through The Believers and help the audience accept the concept of being equal.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

I created The Believers to empower Afghan youth especially girls through online platforms as the primary education was banned due to gender restrictions in Afghanistan. In only a year of activity, we could successfully bring a change in 300+ lives by online courses in English, Computer, Digital Literacy, and Art, have a community of 1300+, and reach an audience of 5K.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

My innovation is a digital community/academy that offers free online classes, programs, and workshops. However, I want to make it an in-person community where my help can reach to people and students who do not have access to a stable internet or at all and that is why I am planning to reach to global communities to assist me in this goal. I want those children, youth, and elders to learn what they could not in the past and that too in ease.

How has it been spreading?

I first started it on WhatsApp platform where I asked my friends to help me out and be a volunteer instructor and teach the students. Once I got a hang of 5 instructors, I made a Google form through which 100 students applied from Afghanistan. After the first round, the students were happy with our academy, so they advertised us to their friends and family and that helped us get more volunteers for teaching and background. In the last round of applications, we got over 1000 applications from countries like AFG, PAK, IR, TAK, TUK, and USA by which we got international volunteers from North America, Africa and Spain through the students' network.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

You can just send us a message on our social media (preferably WhatsApp) to add you into our community and then wait for the applications to be opened for the next round. However, for our short-term programs, we will instantly send you a link to fill out and be in the waiting list.

Implementation steps

1- Filling Out The Online Form
You are expected to begin your journey with us by completing our simple online application form. This form will gather important information, including your full name, interests, and the reason you're interested in joining our classes. Your form will help us understand more about you and your background. Once submitted, we will review your form and guide you through the next stages.
2- Interview Appointment
Once your application form has been reviewed, we will send you an email to schedule an interview appointment. Your interview demonstrates a high chance of you getting accepted into our classes, as we receive a huge number of applications every round. The interview is a friendly conversation between you and the interviewer, which is designed to ensure a perfect fit and to answer any questions you might have about the program.
3- Acceptance Letter Through Email
After successfully passing your interview, you will receive an acceptance letter via email from our association's address. This letter will confirm your enrollment in our classes and consist of class links to join. Make sure to check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) so you don’t miss this important update!
