About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

In these days when we are living the coolest summer of the rest of our lives, in a world where a real threat like climate change is getting more complex; There is a growing call for education all over the world to enable individuals to acquire knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that “lead to green” for individuals as agents of change.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Our book, which consists of 251 outcomes, 92 concepts and 68 creative activities, supports pedagogical elements such as think, feel and act, and supports design-oriented thinking and creative thinking skills.

How has it been spreading?

We were deemed worthy of the 2022 recycling hero award by the Global Recycling Foundation and the Sustainability in Education Awards 2023, organized in cooperation with the Education Innovation Association and Microsoft Turkey. It is now taught as a curriculum in many schools. Our goals for the next 2-3 years are to publish the book in English.

If I want to try it, what should I do?
