We are addressing the global issue of inadequate spoken English skills, a problem that hinders effective communication, customer service, professional image projection, and career opportunities.
When we see the assessment reports created by the students enrolled with our client, we become more and more convinced that many people are struggling to improve their spoken English.
The assessment report identifies error patterns. Generally, there are some patterns in which we make mistakes. For example, sometimes, while speaking, we drop the ending sound of the word. Sometimes, we do not speak properly because our tongue is not rolled correctly. The report contains the top five error patterns.
This report will also help employers screen their employees on their Spoken English level. Then, accordingly, they can decide whether this person can be promoted to a senior-level position or whether they can be put in customer-facing roles.
College's training and placement officers can assess their students' spoken English level. According to the spoken English level, the students can be given training for the specific weakness areas rather than just following a regular 3-6 months training, which they might not even need because they are already strong in some areas. This personalized learning can happen because of that assessment error report.
My paid client is from the US; all the students enrolled in her program are using "Speakho" to get their assessment reports. Interestingly, she is in talks with an Indian firm about selling her program. This deal will bring a large number of end users who will eventually use the Assessment Report feature.
It feels great that I am getting Indian users through a person based in the US. It also validates that my product is designed to work across different industries, countries, or demographics. As it is a web-based application, it can be accessed from anywhere.
