We created Remarkably to address one of the most overlooked yet critical problems in education: teachers are overwhelmed, and students—especially those from lower-income families—aren’t getting the personalized support they need to succeed. Grading takes up 17% of a teacher’s time, and over 70% report high stress and burnout. This leaves little room for teachers to offer the one-on-one guidance that drives real learning. Students who can’t afford private tuition often fall behind, performing up to 4 times worse without personalized feedback. Remarkably was built to free teachers from repetitive marking tasks using AI, so they can focus on what truly matters—engaging with their students and helping every learner reach their full potential.
Remarkably is a teacher-ready AI platform where educators simply upload essays—typed or handwritten, from primary to university level. We customize the system for each school by capturing their grading requirements, rubrics, and individual teacher preferences. For every assignment, teachers can set specific grading parameters to reflect how they personally grade.
The AI then marks essays in minutes, drawing directly on the paper and generating feedback that mirrors the teacher’s style. Teachers report that Remarkably aligns closely with their own grading. It also learns each student’s writing style to provide personalized, growth-focused feedback.
Beyond grading, Remarkably tracks student performance—strengths, weaknesses, common mistakes, and more—so teachers can quickly revisit profiles and offer more targeted support. This empowers teachers to focus less on repetitive tasks and more on closing the learning gap for students who lack access to private tuition.
Remarkably is gaining traction across Singapore’s education ecosystem, starting with our first customer: Lianhua Primary School, a Ministry of Education (MOE) school. We are both selling to and co-developing the product with Lianhua’s English department, where teachers are actively using the platform and providing feedback to refine it.
Building on this success, we now have two international schools in our pipeline and are in ongoing discussions with nine other education institutions—including a Polytechnic, a Junior College, and the National University of Singapore.
Momentum has been growing organically through teacher referrals, support from mentors, and strong word-of-mouth within educator networks. Beyond Singapore, we’ve also begun promoting Remarkably across Southeast Asia, where schools are increasingly looking for AI-driven tools to enhance feedback and close learning gaps.
Because we want to build a solution that’s truly for teachers, by teachers, we’ve been co-developing Remarkably alongside educators from the start. Since launch, we’ve added several features based directly on teacher feedback. For example, teachers can now upload multiple handwritten essays at once, and the system automatically splits and organizes them. We’ve also introduced automatic name detection, removing the need to manually rename files. Most importantly, we now embed comments directly onto the essay itself—so teachers can easily return feedback in a format students recognize. These are just a few of the many improvements we’ve made, all shaped by real classroom needs and workflows.
If you’re interested in trying Remarkably, simply reach out to us at contact@lenorai.com. You can also check out our website at remarkably.ink. We’ll guide you through a step-by-step onboarding process to understand your needs, your school’s grading requirements, and customize the solution accordingly. We’ll then run a pilot test with your teachers so you can experience Remarkably in action. If it’s a great fit—as many teachers have found—it can then be deployed more broadly across your school.
