Why did you create this innovation?

Pandai Teacher was created in direct response to the daily pain points teachers face, such as time-consuming lesson planning, creating high-quality and curriculum-aligned materials, and managing classroom activities—especially during the shift to digital and hybrid learning. The pandemic accelerated the need for digital solutions, and teachers expressed a need for tools that could simplify their workflow, engage students, and provide data-driven insights. Pandai Teacher was built in collaboration with educators and academic experts to empower teachers, save them time, and help them focus on impactful teaching.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

In practice, Pandai Teacher provides a comprehensive suite of tools on a single platform. Teachers can access a vast question bank (over 100,000 questions across 20+ subjects), generate quizzes and exams, and customize materials with their school’s branding. The platform’s AI-powered features enable quick lesson planning, automatic test building, and instant grading. Teachers can manage classes, track student progress, and conduct live online classes. The class dashboard and analytics help teachers monitor learning outcomes and adapt their teaching accordingly.

How has it been spreading?

Adoption of Pandai Teacher has grown rapidly, as seen in the chart: there were major spikes in new teacher registrations and approvals in mid-2021 and again in mid- to late-2024, with sustained high activity into 2025. Growth has been fueled by word-of-mouth, school partnerships, positive testimonials, and the platform’s ease of use. New features like Magic Tools and the AI PBot assistant help teachers generate content, brainstorm ideas, and automate repetitive tasks. There are also more professional development modules and enhanced collaboration tools for team teaching and remote learning.
