Each year about 2 million young people in India step into the workforce, unaware of future facing careers and unprepared to navigate the dynamic job market. The skilling ecosystem in India today is fragmented, lacks skilled trainers and relevant, timely guidance to explore long term careers. The MyQuest app bridges this gap by personalizing learning experiences for any young person, in need to explore careers, and employability skills. The app enables career connected learning, in multiple regional languages, through bite sized engaging content facilitates being an AI career companion, guiding learnings through various experiences on the app and enabling a smooth transition to a job of choice. For most young people from marginalized communities in India, this informed, guided, career connected learning experience is not accessible in classrooms.
There is plenty of information on careers, skills and the world of work on the internet and within the system, however, a student or a teacher cannot sift through a sea of information, connect skills to jobs and support the journey between aspiration and employment.
On MyQuest, once a student logs on to MyQuest App they undergo a journey of career exploration, decision making, practice and prepare for job placements. Students choose their learning ‘avatars’ to indicate their learning preferences, identify their aspirations, skills and learning goals. The entire learning experience on the app is guided by a multilingual AI assistant that personalizes career pathways for learners. So as soon as a learner is on the app, the AI bot is present, to recommend courses, share alumni stories, introduce job profiles, real world job videos, recommend job specific and soft skills connected to career goals, resolve any issue faced on the app and pull relevant references from the web as per learner’s interests, articulate impactful resumes, prepare for interviews, learn about earning opportunities in local areas and finally support job application process and transition The AI bot ensures an ideal classroom experience, with faster adoption of learner’s preferences, peer engagement trends etc. leading them to timely, relevant support at the placement stage
