We solve some major problems in music. We can scale the concept in many other areas.
Many musicians/learners are owerwhelmed by music theory, have difficulty understanding music tutorials, show lack of quick progress in areas such as harmony, composition, production, instrumental lessons, arranging, music analysis etc.
Many educators unsatisfied with academic underperformance/dropout from courses.
A common root cause of the above problems is: inability to calculate/recall almost immediately music theory concepts. This is what we solve with 'inevitable' positive impact on aforementioned areas.
We will develop a software based solution using AI that can:
● program the subconscious of the user,
● imprint in the subconscious the learning material,
● in a far shorter time than what today's educational systems consider possible.
Our method has been tested, without software, for approximately 15 years in private tuition. Research in the following fields justify the great results we have observed:
● Research on the conscious, subconscious and reticular activating system.
● Research on cognitive/meta-cognitive modelling,
● Research on neurolinguistic programming (NLP).
Benefits
● Substantially faster improvement on many areas such as:
● music theory, harmony, counterpoint etc.,
● instrumental lessons and performance,
● song writing and composition,
● improvisation, etc.
This project has acknowledged value and potential from the following: Innovate UK - KTN, Innovate UK EDGE, the former educational manager of Yamaha Music UK who wants to be part of the team, the director of the music department at Salford University, The Growth Company, Launch (Salford University).
The Royal academy of engineering has highly recomended to apply for one of their grants which comes with business training (pending decision).
The results of the method (without software) have been very promising. Indicatively what can be achieved (based on past application) is the following: we can use this method to train complete beginners in school years 6-8 to perform some music theory tasks better than university students in about 3-5 months. Age and intelligence are not primary factors.
We are at the stage of seeking investment for digitizing the method.
