About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

We created Muse Wellbeing to give primary schools a complete, easy to use PSHE and RSE curriculum that builds life skills, supports mental health, teaches respect and inclusion, and equips children with the knowledge and confidence to make safe and positive choices in a changing world. The Muse curriculum was designed to meet the demands of today’s fast-changing world, ensuring children gain the skills and understanding they need to thrive now and in the future.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

In practice, teachers deliver weekly lessons using ready to teach lesson plans, slides and resources. Content covers wellbeing, digital citizenship, safeguarding and relationships, highly adapted to age and context. This ensures consistent whole-school learning and meaningful, lasting impact for every pupil.

How has it been spreading?

Muse Wellbeing has grown through direct school outreach, word of mouth, partnerships and online promotion. Schools in the UK, Ireland, UAE, Thailand, India, Nigeria, South Africa and Australia now use the curriculum, with teachers recommending it for its clarity, breadth and engagement with students.
