Between 2018 - 2020 we worked with close to 1700 young people and their teachers under research conditions to support teachers and learners to gain the skills and competencies for the VUCA world and what's needed for the future they will live in. During this time the young people told us they were worried about their future as they didn't think they had one and adults were doing nothing
Imagine a high school where traditional teaching methods have left students feeling disconnected from real-world issues like climate change. Our resources integrate hands-on, project-based learning activities that address current global challenges e.g. collaborate on creating sustainable solutions for their local community. Challenges engage directly with complex issues like environmental conservation or social justice to deepen their understanding and foster critical thinking. Project based and blended learning activities develops 21st-century skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity and help learners apply these skills to real-world scenarios using contemporary approaches e.g. futures thinking, VR, 3D printing, innovation tools and state of the art research scaffold to their age. We support educators to develop dynamic learning environment to equip learners not only with knowledge but also with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in an uncertain world.
We leverage digital platforms to disseminate resources, share best practices, and connect with educators globally. Through the website, social media channels, and online forums, we create virtual communities where educators can access support, exchange ideas, and collaborate on innovative projects. Our online clinics provide opportunities to showcase our approach, engage with educators, interested in adopting innovative teaching practices. We share evidence-based practices and contribute to the field of education through research studies, publications, and policy briefs and press to highlight our approach and impact on student learning outcomes to build credibility and attract interest from educators and policymakers.
