Kindiedays Pro Program was created to give preschools, especially in developing countries the possibility to provide modern early childhood education affordably. The starting point has been best practices and curriculum from Finland adapted to the local curriculum and cultural needs. India with the new education policy NEP2020, which is well aligned with Finland, has been the first focus market.
Kindiedays Pro consists of a 3 to 5-month development program and an annual preschool service.
The development program consists of 10 online Workshops and homework run by an education specialist. The Workshops cover vital areas of implementing playful and holistic learning. The goal is to grow the teacher's competencies and give them a structure and tools to implement in their work with the children. The Learning Content and Digi tools of the annual service are covered in the training.
The annual service includes over 300 experiential Lesson Plans divided into 3 levels with 166 learning objectives. The Lessons are organized into 10 themes, such as Animals, Space, Sea, and Environment, with printables, worksheets, and video links. An academic calendar and planning guide are included.
Digi Tools supports the learning process, formative assessment, and collaboration with parents. The overall goal is to enable high-quality teaching and learning for children in developing countries.
Kindiedays Pro Program was finalized during the first half of 2024, together with around 10 preschools, mainly in India. It is based on our Digi Tools from 2020 and Lesson Plans from 2023. Kindiedays Digi Tools are available in English, Spanish, Finnish, Swedish, Estonian, Italian, Greek, and Thai. Lesson plans and Workshops are in the first phase available in English. Hence focus for Kindiedays Pro is initially on countries with English as the leading language in preschools and on international schools.
