Khud Initiative is about providing digital literacy for underprivileged children via self-learning.

Khud Initiative

location_on Lahore, Pakistan
Khud means "self" in Urdu. Using lessons from the ages as well as contemporary ones, we are building a modern platform to give children from marginalized background a fighting chance. Currently we are tackling Pakistan's education crises by developing an EdTech Platform based on a pedagogy that combines Technology, Self-learning and Project Based Learning. Modern skills for a modern world!
Elon Musk, CEO Tesla
"If you want to teach children how engines work, you wouldn’t want to first teach them all about wrenches and screwdrivers. Rather you would show them the engine, and ask how they would take it apart"

Elon Musk, CEO Tesla

Digital Literacy For Underprivileged Children- Giving the unlucky a fighting chance for a better tomorrow!

What we do?

We have built an innovative digital education approach

We have designed curricula for various digital subjects. Each curriculum is divided into approximately 30-50 projects which facilitate an easy, self-learning experience.

Why we do it?

The Pakistan education crisis has multiple insane dimensions. To boil it down quantitatively:

25 Million children do not go to school. All these children deserve a fighting chance for a better tomrrow!
