In the review of requirements for the change of academic nature of the CUN, the need to strengthen research and innovation is defined, based on an analysis of results in the processes of investigative training and formative research and degree projects. As a result, projects that were not followed up or were accompanied in their strengthening.
IQ is the implementation of the CUN for the synergy between academia, industry, and the State. Considering the open system concept of the General Theory of systems, making it possible for the academic community to identify the needs in the business sector, academic and social, in turn, can propose alternative solutions from the implementation of learning community strategies and collaborative work to achieve socialization and knowledge transfer. Conceiving it from this place, allows us the dialogue of knowledge with the different social actors, channeling institutional and individual efforts in the construction of a scenario that attends to the national and Latin American economic reality. The creation of alliances with external institutions that point to innovation and divergent thinking, all of this impacting on the reduction of the social, economic, and knowledge gap in Colombia
The evaluation has allowed making adjustments to the three prototypes proposed for the design of the beta version of the application. An adjustment of costs and work teams was made for its development and support. In the future, we want to be recognized within the corporation as a unit that generates innovations inside and outside the institution, so we actively participate in the innovation committee and within the construction of the CUN innovation policy. Outside of the corporation, we were recognized as finalists of the Latin American innovation meeting - open system category, by providing a web platform that allows everyone to participate in the activities and processes of research, entrepreneurship and innovation of the Corporation and its allies.
