"Innovation Labs: Creative Pathways"

Think big, start small, and scale fast

At UCompensar, we help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop innovative solutions through our Creative Pathways—an agile methodology that enables them to build low-fidelity prototypes in our innovation labs. These prototypes are tailored to the specific needs of each business—whether it’s improving a process, product, service, or business model—and serve as an effective way to validate

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

These innovation labs were created to empower micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to prototype quickly, learn fast, and avoid high upfront costs. By providing a space for rapid experimentation, the labs enable businesses to test ideas efficiently, gain valuable insights, and make informed decisions before committing significant resources.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Innovation in practice means turning ideas into tangible results. Entrepreneurs who have gone through this experience have successfully developed a prototype in record time, allowing them to visualize real solutions, validate their ideas, and move forward with greater confidence toward implementation.

How has it been spreading?

This initiative has been spreading across Colombia, allowing companies to participate whenever they need to tackle a specific challenge and quickly validate a solution. Over 100 businesses have already taken part in the experience, developing prototypes that help them move forward with greater clarity and lower risk.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

To participate, entrepreneurs simply need to have a business with at least six months of operation and register through this page: https://solucionesempresariales.ucompensar.edu.co/laboratorios-de-innovacion/
