According to the National Sample Survey Office, 15.1 million girls in India are out of school, as of 2021. And reasons are safety and social. Social reasons of course includes burden of house hold work and mindset. Schools is the place from where you can bring a change. I want to built the school where all life living lessons can be taught and syllabus should be development centric.
School should have a lecture of cooking once in a week for all gender, School should have a lecture of cleaning / dusting / ironing / plumbing to learn basic life skill to make children ready to become more responsible citizens. We are promoting sports in schools and its high time to put it into action. We are promoting save girls, educate girls but all will not work if life skills are gender based. Moreover, a study during corona inspire me to think on this as those children who have lost their mother are also orphans and they are dependent on mother's mother or their father are in hope to get married again. If India is taking proud of tradition, these are the things need to be solved.
Making mental health simple was only an idea!
I've started with You are not alone - Human is near you. My journey has begun after receiving 250 messages in less than 30 minutes praising my initiative. I made it obvious that I wanted to demonstrate the idea that a problem shared is a problem half-solved. The terms "psychologist," "depression," and "mental health" are not necessary. We can improve the world such that fewer people become patients.
This campaign has helped me to meet with number of people and actually I have implemented my thought it society through it.
Well, its not a product where I can say that I will get it for you. We need to convince policy makers / governance to put it into practice. The local voice might be ignored but if it is being noticed and raised from the global platform, definitely will be heard.
