I created HeyLeyBot and course Your Power Your Body because girls are entering puberty earlier, often at 9–10 years old, while mothers frequently feel unprepared to start these conversations. This silence leaves girls to turn to social media, where they face misinformation and unrealistic standards. As a psychologist, pedagogue, and mother, I saw the urgent need for a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate tool that guides girls with clarity and care — while empowering mothers to begin open dialogue.
In my practice, I work with women who suffer from the consequences of silence and misinformation in their youth: wrong pills, abortions, neglect of their cycles, and later infertility. Many tell me: “If only I had known earlier. If only my mother had talked to me differently.” HeyLey Bot was created to break this cycle — giving mothers and daughters the knowledge and language to support healthier choices from the very beginning.
Historically, the first period was often celebrated with rituals and community support. Growing up was honored, not hidden. With HeyLey Bot, I want to bring this spirit back in a modern, digital form — creating a safe space where girls can embrace their changing bodies with love, knowledge, and confidence.

In practice, HeyLey Bot is a friendly WhatsApp (or Telegram) chatbot that feels like a conversation with a supportive friend. First, mothers are introduced to the bot: they learn who I am as the creator, what Ley is, and what the 10 mini-lessons cover. If they approve, they then invite their daughters to open HeyLey Bot on their own phone.
Once inside, Ley — an animated teen character — begins the dialogue. Each day, she sends a short 2–3 minute lesson about puberty, body changes, emotions, nutrition, hygiene, and self-care. The format is chat-based, with simple text, emojis, images, and interactive questions.
After every lesson, the girl answers a quick check-in and receives a digital crystal as a reward. At the end of the 10 lessons, she unlocks a printable workbook with journaling prompts and activities for reflection and mother–daughter dialogue.
This two-step model — mothers first, then daughters — ensures trust, safety, and openness. HeyLey Bot can also be used in schools or community programs, making puberty education accessible, modern, and engaging. It is not an APP, it is a chat bot, to give a feeling to girls that they interact with a friend via messenger and not to "hook" teens to spend more then needed time on their phone.
HeyLey Bot was launched in March 2025 and has been spreading organically through word of mouth and social media. Mothers share it with other mothers, and Instagram and Telegram communities have become the first entry points.
Early pilots with mothers and daughters showed strong engagement — girls enjoyed the friendly chat-based format, while mothers valued receiving the information first and then deciding when to share it with their daughters.
To grow further, I also give lectures for mothers — starting with general topics about adolescence, important conversations, and first menstruation — which naturally lead them to discover HeyLey Bot. In addition, we are applying to educational and innovation platforms and competitions to bring the project to a wider audience.
The idea of HeyLey Bot has gone through several stages of growth. At first, I wanted to create postcards with illustrations for girls, to make puberty education visual and gentle. While learning illustration tools and experimenting with AI, the idea evolved into producing a short video. From there, it grew into a full series of mini-lessons, and finally into an interactive chatbot format — reflecting the latest trends in education and digital learning.
Each step added more engagement and accessibility: from static images, to moving story, to interactive dialogue. This process allowed HeyLey Bot to become what it is today — a modern, scalable solution that feels natural and relatable to girls.
At the moment, HeyLey Bot is available in Telegram in Russian, since I work mainly with Russian-speaking mothers living in Europe and I am based in France. Interest is growing internationally, and many mothers have asked for other languages and for a WhatsApp version, since Telegram is not convenient for everyone.
The lessons are already translated into English, so right now I can provide access either to the full chatbot in Telegram (in Russian) or to the English lessons as a text-based version. A WhatsApp chatbot in English is currently in development.
