About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

To give schools, guidance teams, teachers and families a complete tool to help students to make better decisions for their lives.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Henko Orientación provides educational tools, including printed and digital materials, access to a dedicated digital platform, and training and coaching for staff. By integrating these resources, Henko Orientación aims to enable schools to create dynamic educational projects and encourages family involvement in the decision-making process.

The service begins by engaging schools to distribute guidance materials, it then enhances the capacity of guidance teams, and culminates in the training of teachers, aiming to make educational guidance a foundational aspect of school curriculums.

Henko Orientación focuses on students between 12 and 18 years old, and delivers a systematic approach to school-based guidance. It features a modular and adaptable school work model led by guidance teams and implemented by teachers, which is both flexible to adapt to individual school environments and scalable beyond regular curricular activities through tutoring hours.

How has it been spreading?

Offered to schools through the commercial activity of the Spanish publisher Grupo Anaya. Henko Orientación aims to put orientation at the heart of the school’s educational project. It aims to align all the actors in the centre with the same strategy. It’s goal is to provide a complete service for developing ambitious academic and professional guidance strategies, combining pedagogical approaches with both digital tools and printed materials. By bringing together resources, tools and guidance solutions it aims to offer a holistic, complete and evolving proposal.
