Evolucional

Empowering schools with data-driven assessment tools that improve learning outcomes at scale.

Evolucional transforms education through data. We offer high-quality assessments inspired by Brazil’s two largest official exams—ENEM and SAEB—delivering rapid, personalized feedback to students, teachers and school leaders. Our tools support data-driven decisions across K–12, improving outcomes and promoting equity at scale.

We want to shift education from intuition-based decision-making to a culture of evidence. Our goal is to empower schools to make timely, data-driven choices that promote equity, personalize learning, and ensure that every student’s needs are understood and addressed in a concrete, actionable way.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

In Brazil, large-scale assessments like ENEM and SAEB are used by schools to evaluate learning outcomes and shape pedagogical strategies. However, these government datasets are often released many months after the exam, limiting their usefulness for real-time decision-making. When schools finally receive the results, the students have already moved on, and the opportunity to intervene is lost. We created Evolucional to change this reality.

Our mission is to empower schools with timely, actionable, and pedagogically relevant data. By simulating national assessments multiple times a year and delivering results in days—not months—we enable teachers, school leaders, students, and families to respond to learning gaps quickly and effectively.

Our innovation combines adaptive assessments, psychometric analysis, personalized feedback tools, and AI-driven simulations. It helps teachers rethink instruction, managers drive continuous improvement, and students better understand their academic trajectory and plan for their future.

Evolucional was born out of the belief that data is not just a monitoring tool—it’s a driver of transformation when delivered in the right way, at the right time, and to the right people.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Evolucional supports K–12 schools across Brazil by offering a full-cycle assessment and data intelligence platform designed to simulate the country’s main national exams—ENEM, SAEB, and others. The process begins when students take printed or digital mock assessments that mirror the structure, difficulty, and skills required by official tests. These assessments are aligned with national curricular standards and tailored to the specific needs of each grade level.

Once the tests are completed, our platform uses psychometric modeling and IRT-based algorithms to generate reliable, comparable, and individualized performance data. In less than a week, detailed results are made available in dashboards and reports targeted to different audiences: school leaders access strategic management indicators, teachers receive class and student-level diagnostics, and students engage with visual tools like our SiSU Simulator, which helps them understand their chances of university admission.

Our team also supports educators through personalized training and consultancy, helping them interpret the data and turn insights into pedagogical action. By closing the gap between assessment and instruction, Evolucional enables a culture of continuous improvement in thousands of classrooms.

How has it been spreading?

Evolucional has experienced consistent and exponential growth since its foundation in 2013. From a small number of early adopters, we have expanded our presence to over 9,200 schools across Brazil, impacting more than 3 million students in over 1,400 cities. This nationwide adoption includes a broad range of educational contexts, confirming the adaptability and scalability of our model.

Our growth has been driven primarily by partnerships with private schools, networks, and educational systems that seek to make data-informed decisions and improve learning outcomes. Over time, we have also established meaningful collaborations with public schools and networks, reinforcing our commitment to equity and relevance in diverse realities.

Since 2013, our school network has expanded from just 34 partner institutions to over 3,000 by 2020 and more than 9,200 by 2025. We’ve applied over 10 million assessments, always combining robust technology with pedagogical guidance and data literacy to ensure meaningful educational impact.

How have you modified or added to your innovation?

Since the beginning, assessments have been the core of Evolucional’s innovation. However, we have consistently expanded our impact by developing new solutions derived from student performance data. These additions aim to support deeper pedagogical action, personalization, and long-term learning strategies.

One example is EvoJornada, a suite of five interconnected tools designed for high school. It allows schools to configure adaptive tests based on their own pedagogical planning, generate unlimited custom assessments, manage essay writing routines, and simulate the national exam with precision. It also includes EvoNitro, a learning path platform that uses student data to build weekly study routines aligned with academic interests, learning gaps, and university goals.

In 2025, we launched EvoRevisa, a solution that turns ENEM preparation into a personalized revision experience. With over 1,600 pre-calibrated items and integrated TRI scoring, students receive study priorities, performance feedback, and video commentaries. All recommendations are powered by insights from our simulated assessments.

Together, these tools keep assessments at the center while expanding their power to inform action, engagement, and results.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

Schools or education networks interested in using Evolucional can contact our team through our website. Our onboarding begins with a clear presentation of the assessment cycles we offer throughout the academic year. Each cycle is defined by an official release date, from which schools can apply the assessments with their students. The school or network selects which cycles they want to participate in for each grade level, based on their planning and needs.

Our pricing model is simple and scalable: we charge per student, per assessment cycle. Once the contract is finalized, our pedagogical advisory team conducts onboarding sessions with school leaders and technical coordinators responsible for implementing our solutions.

These training sessions cover both operational and pedagogical aspects. On the technical side, we explain the full assessment process—from test delivery logistics to accessing results on the platform. On the pedagogical side, we train educators to interpret our data indicators and use our tools to plan interventions and improve learning outcomes.
