Why did you create this innovation?
Emile started as a project with the Faculty of Education of Manchester Metropolitan University.
As teachers started to use Emile, we have evolved Emile to be tightly aligned to the National Curriculum and leading schemes of work so that teachers can pick it up, know there is part that relates to their lesson and can set up a battle between their students.
What does your innovation look like in practice?
An app for students and hundreds of powerpoints & thousands of worksheets to support teachers.
Used for homework, in class, for MTC and SATs preparation Emile is now used in over 2,000 schools in the UK (more than 10%)
How has it been spreading?
Word of mouth by teachers.
