EDEN School

Digital school for under 18s

This inclusive school reunites students with only one criterion : motivation to IT development. This school meets the needs of both companies and young people. Our belief: coding is a key skill. A comprehensive approach to help our students grow: human skills are at the heart of the training framework, just like technical and academic skills. And this prevents dropout.

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

In France, there was no vocational training to become a web developer from the age of 15, while companies are unable to recruit and young people want to become quickly a developer.
We have chosen to create a school that trains in the digital professions of tomorrow and also in the soft skills of future responsible eco-citizens, thanks to human education.

What does your innovation look like in practice?

This is a school enterprise. The students learn code through projects for clients. They also have courses like in high school (French, history, geography, mathematics, science, English and sport) and human education courses to learn to become.

The 60 high school students take pleasure in learning and gain in maturity. They easily find work

How has it been spreading?

We opened an EDEN School in Villeurbanne in 2017, then a second in Paris in 2019. Our goal is to set up a school in each region of France to be close to teenagers.

If I want to try it, what should I do?

You must be between 15 and 17 years old and take the online tests here: https://www.edenschool.fr/admission-inscription-developpeur-web-mobile/
You have to pass the admissions steps and come to live in France to study code in a great school.
