We used Sachet Water Bags to produce Lunch Bags, BackPack and also educate students the importance of not throwing plastic but rather recycle plastic in a different product that can benefits the community. The aim of this project is to enlighten students on the available job opportunities that can be found in plastic. The project is called Do Away with Plastic on campus #DAWP is a pilot project using the Home Economics Department, three classes at Ofoase Senior High Technical School with three volunteers. Plastics are not an Environmental, Incineration, landfill and ocean problem. They’re a people’s problem. Believe it or not, this is reason for hope.
