Tackling gender stereotypes in Brazil's rural areas, our initiative focuses on engaging girls, alongside boys and educators in elementary schools, to promote STEM through diverse learning approaches. Breaking barriers, we inspire inclusivity, paving the way for girls' equitable futures.
In practice, our innovation takes the form of an 18-meter truck equipped with a theater showcasing women's discoveries in STEM fields, featuring pioneers like Margaret Hamilton. Following the presentation, students engage in five interactive art stations promoting careers and knowledge in science, engineering, technology, and math. Our goal is to transform learning into play and fun during our 4-day visits to each city, fostering excitement and curiosity among students. Additionally, we maintain communication with educators online, sharing knowledge and resources to support ongoing learning beyond the truck's visit.
Our initiative has been spreading through strategic partnerships with municipal secretaries and targeted social media campaigns with geolocation features. By collaborating with municipal authorities, we establish direct connections with local communities, facilitating the organization of our visits and maximizing impact. Simultaneously, our social media campaigns leverage geolocation to reach audiences in specific cities, generating excitement and anticipation for our arrival. This combination of grassroots engagement and digital outreach ensures broad dissemination of our message and encourages widespread participation in our interactive STEM learning experiences.
To experience our initiative firsthand, simply stay tuned to our social media channels and website for announcements regarding upcoming visits to your city or region. Once we announce our schedule, gather your students, educators, and community members to join us at the designated location. Additionally, feel free to reach out to us directly via email or phone for more information.
