How does your innovation work in practice?
For the workshops we are designing our own methodology based on seven development pillars and in which empowerment issues intervenes with topics related to STEAM.
We have 5 learning houses:
Athena, we will address science and self-care issues.
Electriona, we address technology and communication issues.
Vesta, we address engineering and standards issues - gender stereotypes.
Iris, we address art issues with Comprehensive Sexual Health.
Aglaya, we approach math issues with negotiation - conscious leadership.
Through educational podcasts, where we accompany a girl´s curiosity, she interrogates all her processes to learn from them.
Inspire in ConCiencia, where a student takes over the space to converse with a profesional woman in varios STEAM áreas.
Let´s talk about women, every Tuesday in our social media, we present the story of a woman who has made and makes history both in the world and in Ecuador.
How has it been spreading?
We visited our first community in the Ecuadorian Amazon on May 2021, a Waorani community in the province of Pastaza, where we were able to share our workshops and learn from their cultural practices. https://youtu.be/YXOXUXUsXVU
Virtual workshops, in which more than 200 people have participated, 90% women, 10% men.
The countries that most listen to our podcast are: Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico.
We have reached more than 1000 reproductions of our Inspira en ConCiencia conversations in each of our transmissions.
Our goals are:
-Will have connection with 6 communities and work with them our workshops and the transmission of our podcast on their community radios.
- Get to connect to 24 students with 24 professional women in STEAM areas.
- Get to self-finance with our own workshops and actions.
