The challenge that educators in Zambia have been experiencing is mostly delivery or teaching t.echniques whose approach is mainly traditional and is inefficient with low learner outcomes. teachers are overwhelmed while students have difficulty in access to resources and the covid pandemic made it impossible for them to deliver education
A web-based platform supported by AWS. our system is deployed for an institution enabling them to function remotely. Teachers have digital tools that automate their tasks, exams, assignments, resources distribution and communication is automated in a single seamless system for collaborative engagement with students who perform similar tasks on their end. This allows for students to take online exams, submit assignments and access resources such as notes, books and videos vie an e-library, anywhere & anytime. administration tasks such as student record keeping and information dissemination to teacher and students are facilitated within the platform making it an all in one learning management system.
Despite school closures due to COVID, Book-it has been a breakthrough intervention, which introduces remote learning to teachers and students. The system promoted blended learning by allowing teachers & students to automate classroom tasks such as assessments and sharing of resources and enabling a teacher-led collaborative learning experience.
with 3 active clients, we enabled over 300 students to continue learning during the lockdown. our system was awarded as the top50 education innovations in Africa by the African Union.
To scale we wish to partner with corporate partners such as telecoms companies to enable us to penetrate the market with more services to offer. we have two partners from Nigeria and Sout Africa. we are also looking to partner with NGO's.
