Growing up, I was always discouraged to pursue STEM fields as a girl. In Pakistan, 17 million girls reside, but only 18% women in STEM. I am on a mission to change the narrative for marginalized girls. Factors like child marriages, stereotypes, & lack of opportunities are the main contributors to a major divide in women's representation. Now we are expanding globally with accessible programming.
We make this possible by creating accessible, impactful, and sustainable programming that will inspire girls to cultivate leadership in their communities. As a for female by female movement, we strive to provide an inclusive, creative, and diverse environment where girls regardless of their background or economic situation can become confident and impactful leaders.
Our Programs:
(Flagship) STEM Girl: Creating the next generation of Pakistani female change-makers by sparking scientific curiosity through storytelling, technology, and female STEM role models.
TecGirl: Transformational annual leadership experience focusing on empowering girls to be changemakers in their communities.
TRDC: Digital exchange program for teachers to explore the necessary skills to teach/practice resilience to disadvantaged youth.
Collaborations: We collaborate with global organizations to bring their programs to developing countries like Pakistan.
BloomED Foundation has reached thousands of young people from across the globe through our social campaigns, platform, and event. We have directly impacted 1000 girls across Pakistan through a variety of virtual and physical programs. We have reached more than 300 teachers in more than 14 countries.
